Gifts That Give Back

gtgb_200px

The life of a Saul Good gift doesn’t end when it’s received and opened. In fact, it’s only the beginning. Each gift basket includes a $2 donation to a local charity and the gift recipient helps decide where the money goes. It’s the best way we know of keeping a contract with the amazing communities and activities that help make our gifts great.

The Giving Starts Here

In order to make your Gift Give Back, just find the unique code written on the Fresh Sheet included with your gift and enter it along with a bit of information below. You’ll get a confirmation that your vote has been received after you click submit. Be sure to check back soon to see how much all our gifts are giving back.

Canopy

Canopy is the North American leader in using market forces to collaborate with the paper and forestry industry to reduce demand for paper coming from old growth forests. Over the last 10 years their modest Vancouver operation has had tremendous success, like in the printing of Harry Potter novels on 100% post-consumer recycled paper and the development of the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement. SOLEfood Urban Farm

SOLEfood is a series of urban agriculture projects designed to train and employ residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. With the first site a success, converting a 1 acre parking lot on East Hastings into a productive urban farm, the vision is to grow their production at other local area sites.  A project managed by United We Can, a successful social enterprise in the heart of Vancouver’s inner city that provides jobs and experience to the city’s most in need.
