Our People

Saul Brown, President and CSO (Chief Story Officer)

saul_brownSaul has built his career and business out of a wide and healthy range of interests and passions. He spent his early twenties as a wilderness expedition guide on the lakes and waterways of Ontario, helping create memorable experiences for his groups and building connections with one another.

After earning a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, Saul realized the potential of business to be a productive lever for creating social and environmental change. He decided to parlay his environmental education and leadership experience into an MBA in sustainable business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) where Saul Good Gift Co. was born.

Saul appreciates the process of creating exquisite gifts that help people connect with one another and build relationships. He also enjoys working with BC’s best artisans, farmers, social enterprises and small-scale businesses to build community with his business.

Saul currently sits on the Board of LoCo BC and contributes as a member of the Strathcona Business Improvement Association’s Sustainability Committee.

Jamie Bryant, Director of Happiness

Jamie-BioJamie is the newest member of the Saul Good family, joining in the Spring of 2012. A native of Richmond, BC, she brings a BA in Communications and a diploma in Radio Broadcasting. She values her experiences living in some smaller Western Canadian communities such as Edson and Merritt.  When she decided to venture out beyond Canada, she ended up in Australia where she lived in a tent for six months and worked on a sheep farm!

The inspiration to join our team arose after seeing Paul Hawken at a Vancity 65th Anniversary event. As Hawken spoke, Jamie was able to see the connection between the environment, local business and community building with her First Nations community.
