At Saul Good Gift Co., it all started with the box! Conventional corporate gift baskets are enormously wasteful, with over 50 million ending up in landfills each year North America wide, and untold reams of non-biodegradable cellophane drifting out to waterways. We wanted to change all that, so we designed a sturdy & handsome cardboard gift box made locally from 100% recycled cardboard.

We encourage recipients to either reuse our box (re-gift it!) or recycle it with their other paper. We’re striving to close the loop on resource use and find other innovative ways to reduce our company’s footprint on the environment. We strive for all our printing, both in office and for promotion, be printed on 100% post consumer paper as well, a commitment to making the most of what we have and reducing our reliance on cutting down trees.

Our shred also has an interesting story. Rather than using virgin fiber paper, or crinkled plastic strips, we wanted to come up with a creative solution for an attractive and insulating filler. What began as a conversation with a neighbouring printer, Marine Printers has developed into a productive partnership where we pick up their offcuts and use them as attractive shred!

We've developed experience in the sustainable packaging space and have worked on a variety of projects including retail and shipping box solutions for Vancouver 2010 Olympic collectibles and the award winning LEED Platinum South East False Creek Olympic Village project, Millennium Water.
