It’s been an honor and inspiration getting to know Mickey Macleod. We first met as part of a Net Impact business case competition while I was working on my MBA. Salt Spring Coffee created an industry for locally roasted coffee in British Columbia. Their direct trade relationships with their growers and energy efficiency programs and willingness to take risks and be leaders is second to none.
