I'll admit, I've been a fair weather rider. After hurting my back a few years ago it's taken me a while to get back on my bike. I received an amazing birthday gift recently, a new commuter bike and I've been getting into the groove of riding into work. This was my first week back and today's ride blew my mind.

Employees are a gift and in this light we want to welcome Jamie Bryant, a new addition to our team. Like any great local gift, Jamie carries a unique local story. The chapter of the story that brought her to Saul Good Gift Co. involves Jamie’s experience reclaiming her cultural roots and the Vancity event with Paul Hawken last fall.

From seedlings to salads, Growing Chefs is getting Vancouver kids excited about creating food. This non-profit society brings the gift of window-sill gardening, cooking, urban agriculture and sustainability into Vancouver elementary school classrooms. These fun lessons are taught by volunteer chefs from some of your favourite local restaurants.
